Coal Gas Solutions (CGS) was formed in 2008 to provide a range of integrated services to the Coal Bed Methane (CBM) sector and to undertake the full field development of Coal Bed Methane in and around the Asia-Pacific region with the primary focus on Indonesia.
The company’s founding partners, ARV and Zektin Engineering, bring with them a diversity of expertise, resources and experience from the conventional oil and gas and CBM sectors respectively. Zektin is a leading engineering design and construction management group with multi-disciplined engineering teams working from their main offices in Melbourne and Brisbane to service clients on some of Australia’s largest CBM projects.
To bring additional know-how and resources to the group and to enable CGS to support clients from the early exploration stages through to the production phase of CBM developments, CGS has entered into strategic partnerships for the provision of geological & geophysical assessments, drilling, coring and wellsite services, desorption and adsorption testing facilities, reservoir and basin analysis, as well as total integrated exploration program management capability. Clients are able to benefit from the specialist technical expertise and valuable hands-on CBM project experience brought by Coal Seam Gas Exploration & Production Services from Australia.
