ARV were contracted to provide Project Management Consultancy for the development of the Bualuang Field in the Gulf of Thailand. As Project Management Consultants ARV prepared and oversaw all tenders for 3rd party services, materials and equipment, and liaised with all 3rd party contractors acting as GFI’s representatives in Thailand, reporting directly to GFI in the USA. The mooring for the FPSO was the first of its kind. ARV also fabricated a 35 tonne Subsea PLEM with 10 inch production and 10 inch water flood lines and the suction pile mooring for the Rubicon Vantage. Note: GFI, including its interest in the Bualuang Field, have been bought out by Salamander Energy. |
