ARV worked jointly with Korndorffer Contracting International of The Netherlands to develop low cost innovative development ideas for the next phase of the block development. Key to the success of the cost reduction were ARV’s knowledge of: low cost platform fabrication in Thailand; facility mineralization; installation methods for both pipelines and platforms without derrick-lay barges; and highly automated modular drilling packages. |
